                     How LEDs Are Different
LED lighting is very different from other types of lighting such 
as incandescent and CFL. Significant differences include:
Light Source: 
LEDs are not the size of a chill fleck, and can 
emit light in a variety of colors. A combination 
of red, yellow, and green LEDs is sometimes 
used to make white light.
Direction:
Backup LED Lights emit light to a specific area, 
reducing the need for indicators and diffusers 
that can capture light. This feature makes LEDs 
work very well in many applications such as 
recessed lights and activity lights. With some 
types of lighting, light should be reflected in the 
direction you are going and more than half the 
light may never go out of place.
Temperature:
Small battery-operated lights emit very 
little heat. In comparison, incandescent 
bulbs release 90% of their energy as heat 
and CFLs release about 80% of their energy 
as heat.
Lifespan:
LED lamp products usually last longer than 
other types of lighting. A good quality LED lamp 
can last 3 to 5 times longer than a CFL and 30 
times longer than an incandescent lamp.
