You can help your chiropractor learn about the problems you are experiencing through a conversation 
with them or by filling out an intake form ahead of time that asks questions such as where it hurts, how 
often it hurts, and how long it has been hurting.
A chiropractor will take a careful history of your condition. Your chiropractor will spend some time 
asking questions about your symptoms and how they came about. Once the chiropractor has this 
information, he or she can develop a treatment plan that may include diagnostic tests, soft tissue 
therapy, spinal adjustment, rehabilitation exercises, electrical stimulation and other techniques to help 
relieve your pain.
If you are experiencing pain while visiting a chiropractic physician, then it is important to be honest with 
them as well. If you don't tell the doctor where it hurts and where the pain is most intense it can make it
harder for them to help you. If you tell the chiropractor, then they can help you. Don't try to keep the 
pain a secret in an effort to get a lower fee. If you do this, it may be difficult for the doctor to diagnose 
your condition and find out what is causing it so they may have to charge more money.
It is important for the chiropractor to take care of your pain relief needs after each visit so that you don't
