What is EMCEE?
• The designated host of a ritual, staged gathering, meeting, convention, or related show is a 
master of ceremonies, abbreviated MC or emcee.
• When planning an gathering, whether it's a wedding celebration, a marriage ceremony or an 
annual business day, much of its effectiveness relies on whether the visitors and invitees feel 
involved. It is here that a competent emcee 's presence can make all the difference between 
a memorable event and a forgettable one.
