Cleats can be welded, bolted, or tek screwed to SHS posts, with pre-drilled 4mm pilot holes for fast, accurate fixing. Builders often use a laser level for alignment and secure cleats with Series 500 metal teks. For high shear loads (over 42kN), stitch welding is recommended.
