“We’ve always tried to be at the forefront with our facilities 
and support the progression of the skiers and riders who 
come to Grouse Mountain,” he continued. “Now as the first 
Resort on the North Shore to have a handle tow specifically 
for Park users, we look forward to supporting that progression 
for many more years to come.”
With a total rope length of 250 metres and maximum speed 
of two metres per second, the Short Cut handle tow can 
move up to 600 people per hour, and will elevate the Park 
experience for both skiers and riders. “It’s the latest in a 
series of upgrades and projects heralding a new chapter for 
the iconic Vancouver landmark leading up to its centennial in 
2026,” says Grouse Mountain.
