While washing the pillow covers and bedsheets can easily be done in a washing 
machine, the same cannot be done with foam mattress toppers. They lie as an extra 
comforter on top of your bed below your sheets absorbing all the oils, dirt, spills, sweat

Step #1 Make a Vinegar solution
Various expert studies related to house cleaning solutions show that vinegar solution is 
the most effective cleaning agent when used on the same when prepared to eliminate 
the dangerous bacteria, germs, and stains. So, start by taking a clean bottle and filling it 
with vinegar and water in a 1: 1 ratio. You can even add in some stain-free essential oils 
for a good fragrance for extra refreshment if you wish. However, if you are using 
essential oils or fragrance oils make sure to use them at a minimum to avoid harsh 
smells later that can disturb your sleep.
Step #2 Dab the extra liquid with a towel
If cleaning a liquid spill, then make sure you soak up the extra residue with a towel 
nicely before you apply your vinegar solution. Once toss the used towel into the 
laundry bag before moving to the next step of your cleaning process.

Step #3 Spray the solution
Once you have soaked in the extra liquid spritz some of your freshly prepared vinegar 
solution to your mattress topper, not too much but just enough to dampen it nicely. 
Depending on dirt intensity you can either just treat the affected spot or the entire 
mattress topper, then dab the extra liquid with another towel, not the one used for the 
previous step.
Step #4 Powder some baking soda and wait
Dust in some generous amount of baking soda on the problematic area or the whole 
mattress topper to absorb the moisture completely. Let it sit for at least 8 hours and 
then clean it off. Ideally, it's best to do this during the early hours so that you can have 
your mattress sleep ready for the night.
Step #5 Vacuum and reassemble
Once your bed is all moisture free and deodorised, reassemble your mattress topper 
back to its original form. After that, you can sleep over as usually in peace and all 
comfort with a fresh, clean mattress topper beneath your sheets.
