About Mount Kilimanjaro Day Hike
Mount Kilimanjaro is Tanzania's awe-inspiring icon, but you don't 
have to climb it to appreciate its full splendour and the enthralling 
countryside surrounding it. Our Kilimanjaro day excursion Sneak Peek 
of the Peak Hike allows you to struggle up the first section of the 
legendary Marangu Route through a rainforest teeming with wildlife 
and chattering, curious blue monkeys. Keep an eye out for a colobus 
or two.
Leave lively, colourful Moshi early in the morning for the trip to 
Marangu Gate, the gateway to Mount Kilimanjaro. It's only an hour 
away, but the scenery will capture you - coffee and banana fields, 
past charming Marangu hamlet, with Kilimanjaro rising magnificently 
before you. We'll register you at the Marangu Gate (we don't want 
you to go lost!) Your adventure will soon begin. The ridged route is 
first narrow as it winds through the rainforest.
