ABOUT US
 Saleem Group is a conglomerate of companies trading in footwear. The 
foundations of Saleem group was established in 1986 with a vision of 
providing comfortable footwear to everyone in town, Saleem Bhai, our 
founder set out on his mission to make footwear accessible to all. With a 
quest of grand ambition that required massive scale he was on a lookout 
for potential partnerships and during one of his journeys to Kerala, 
Saleem Bhai met Mr Mammed Koya, Founder & Chairman of VKC Rubber 
Industries and found a potential in synergising between the companies. 
Later, Saleem Bhai associated with VKC and its Brands to introduce VKC 
products in Tamil Nadu. Trading of footwear became the mainstay of 
Saleem Group. The company constantly evolved into six branches, 
serving footwear businesses across the lengths and breadths of the 
state. In 2009, Saleem Bhai was accompanied by Mr Mohamed Ubaith, 
who quit his corporate career from a software company to join his father-
in-law; the association resulted in a phenomenal growth story of creating 
value for 3,500+ footwear businesses across Tamil Nadu.
